Reflections Practical

Reflections are the theme of this week’s meeting; be it water, mirrors, or anything else reflective, we’ll be having a go at shooting it. Bring along your camera equipment, and I’m sure there’ll be some interesting shots to be had!

LUPS elections are coming up soon (Week 7), so as well as the practical we’ll be discussing what our exec positions entail, and answering any questions you might have about them or the election process. Normal time and place (Tuesday 6-7pm, Fylde SCR), come along and see if there’s anything for you!

Studio Presentation

Following on from last week’s practical session, one of our members will be giving a presentation on the ins and outs of studio photography, such as flash, dealing with models, etc (come to think of it, we probably should have done this the other way round!). There’s always plenty more to learn, so come along and find out more - usual time and place, Fylde SCR, Tuesday 6-7pm.

Studio Photography

This week, we will be having a go at studio photography, trying out different lighting and angles etc. Any posers among you will have a field day! Usual time and place (Tuesday 6-7pm, Fylde SCR), bring along your cameras and tripods - if you need to borrow a camera off the exec, email us in advance and we’ll see what we can do.

Also, this year’s LUPS elections will be taking place soon, probably around week 7/8, in which a new exec will take over for the coming year. There’s still a few weeks to go, and we’ll give more information about the whole process soon, so don’t worry!

Darkroom Training

Sports Photography Tutorial

This week’s meeting will be a tutorial on sports photography, hopefully to give you inspiration and insights in time for Roses later this term… Feel free to bring along any sports images you’ve taken to show everyone, but no need to take your cameras for this session - usual time and place (Fylde SCR, 6-7pm), see you there!
