LUPS

Just in case you lose track of things and want to know who’s who, here are this year’s exec members, complete with descriptions of what they actually do. A new exec is elected (or re-elected) at least once a year, usually towards the end of 2nd term, and any member of LUPS is free to run for a position – so take a look and see if there’s anything you’re interested in doing, you could be the future of the society!

President
Matt Capps.

As our figurehead and ‘leader’ of sorts, the President represents LUPS and the society’s direction for the year.

Treasurer
Ollie Franks.

Money may be the root of all evil, but the society wouldn’t last very long without any – good thing we have our Treasurer to sort out all funding and finance issues.

Secretary
Kate Allen.

The Secretary handles the majority of communications with members, LUSU, other societies, academic departments, coach companies, etc… In other words, the voice of LUPS.

Safety Officer
Anna Fee.

The Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining the darkroom, as well as making sure our many escapades won’t get anyone hurt…

Social Exec
Ellen Clements.

When we’re not busy with the world of photography, LUPS are sure to be having a good drink or meal – and who better to orchestrate the madness than the Social Exec?

Publicity Officer.
Veronica Bruer.

The publicity officer manages the advertising and promotional side to our society. Keeping people informed of our activities.

Darkroom officer.
Fred Thomas.

The darkroom officer is the societies major source of knowledge for film photography and the exec member who manages the darkroom and can provide basic training for those wanting to use it.

Internet Officer
Khairil Zhafri.

The internet officer manages our online presence and keeps our internet sites running and up to date.
